Some of the areas around the city of St. George, Utah have an abundance of ancient artifacts. When the city collides with these areas often the art suffers and the city wins. The Bloomington neighborhood was good enough to save one large boulder covered with Anasazi petroglyphs. 
This little park is surrounded by a fence and has a sign designating the park BUT there are no signs or attempts to protect the boulder from climbing and graffiti. As good as the effort is to save the art it will fail if not preserved with greater protection. This kind of art should not be taken for granted.
