After the powerful rains and winds of last week I noticed a leak in my roof. With new rains coming this evening I’m up on the roof today to seal all the seams and possible leak points. One item I always have on hand is Eternabond Tape.
This stuff is the fix all product for me and many RVers. Pretty much any leak, whether a hole in the floor, a crack in a holding/water tank or a leak in the roof, can be repaired, pretty much permanently. I love this stuff! By the time I’m done all the previously caulked areas of the roof and around the vents will be sealed with Eternabond. The link here is to Big Rock Supply Company, where I purchased the tape. It’s only one supplier, so shop around for the best prices. Most RVers know you have to re-caulk all the roof seams every few years. It’s an expensive and VERY messy process. I’m happy I won’t ever have to do this again.
The seam on the right is in the process of being covered.
It’s not always pretty but it works.
Looking straight down at the front cap seam. The shiny thing is one of the air horns.
