It snowed today. It’s not much snow and it’s melting as it hits the ground. The temperature will fall to below freezing this evening making for some icy areas up canyon and around Springdale. I’ve been in training for the last couple of days. The Campground opened immediately after training and orientation ended yesterday. The only new item in the training session was how to respond to guns openly displayed in the campground. This is new this year, National Parks will now allow open carrying of guns. How did this happen? Here’s the answer.
Here we are tucked into our campsite until late May. Currently, I’m the only camp host at South Campground until mid April. Because of the low temps and snow the camper count is low but that should change this week when the temperatures reach the high 60’s. Nice temps, sun and Spring Break for schools should have the campgrounds buzzing with activity.
AT THE END OF THE DAY THE SUN CAME OUT
