Today is the midway point for us here in Goshen. The motor home should be finished sometime next week. In the meantime I’ve been laying low and enjoying the scenery. We been killing time. Found a nice dog park for Blue. It’s a pay to play dog park and it’s the first we’ve found where you need to prove your dog’s health and vaccinations in order to get a key for entry. We joined up, but so far haven’t met another dog under 80 pounds for Blue to romp with. The Nelson Dog Park is nicely laid out with a lake section where dogs can play in and around the water. The water is constantly filtered and aerated to keep it clean and fresh. Blue wanted nothing to do with the water.
Blue waiting for a dog….sadly he had the whole lake section of the dog park to himself.
Later in the day we ventured over to the Newmar Corp. where the motor home is being re-sided and painted. We couldn’t see the coach but caught up with our advisor to sign off on a couple of additions to the coach. New lights everywhere and a new awning over the desk area window. This will allow me to have a sunshade on windy days without worrying about damage to the awning. Doing this with the large awning would not be wise. Here’s a panoramic image showing the main plant with the parking areas on both sides.
Here’s some random scenes on the way back to Goshen.
