The City of Bandon Heading into downtown Bandon for a diesel “top off” before heading to the marsh for the next 5 months.

each flag is a native plant which has be placed back into the habitat of the Bandon Marsh Bill Bridgeland, wildlife biologist, amid thousands of tiny flags marking the locations of every native plant replanted into the Bandon Marsh during the last 6 months. Soon the former cranberry bog will be transformed into it’s original state pre- 1900.

Our home on the "new" Bandon Marsh From our campsite on the Bandon Marsh (old cranberry bog) we have a great view of the transformation process. I’m looking forward to watching the plant growth and animal life here during the next 5 months.
