Great White Squirrel

Filed Under Blue's News, Zion National Park . Utah

One of the most frustrating situations for Blue is having to standby and watch the squirrels frolic. Pecans fall from the trees and the little ground squirrels scramble to crack and eat as many has they can hold.

squirrels  One squirrel in particular really bugs Blue…it’s the Moby Dick of south campground..the Great White Squirrel, who sits on the wooden fence next to campsite #61.

Blue's Moby Squirrel  It doesn’t run away or flinch as if to mock Blue as we ride by while doing our campground rounds in our electric cart. When we take our walks I swear Blue and hear sounds of the squirrels underground. He will stand motionless over a squirrel hole daring them to show themselves … that never happens. The squirrels rule here!
