We arrived a couple days ago at the Columbia River RV Park on the Columbia River as close as we can get to being by the ocean while I get caught up on dentist, doctor and optics “stuff”. I’m also hoping to replace the window shades and rear view camera/ audio system while I’m here.
This is a large video file so be warned. It’s a driver’s view from the motor home. If you ever wanted to experience traveling in an RV from the driver’s perspective this will do it. If you just want to look out the windows at the wonderful views of the Columbia River Gorge, enjoy yourself. It is what it is…beautiful…boring….sometimes bumpy….mostly smooth….did I mention….the Columbia River Gorge is incredibly magnificent. I travel this way nearly four times a year and it never gets old, but be warned….it can still be tedious because this is the way road travel can be at times. The reward is…you will eventually get to where you’re going. I shot this incrementally while I was driving. I know, I know… this is not a good thing to do. I don’t recommend anyone do this, but when Blue said he couldn’t do it…I had no choice but to do it myself. Please be gentle.
