Half of South Campground in Zion has been closed down for the season and the Mule Deer are taking over as the rutting season starts.

The deer seem oblivious to spectators and people driving by often stop along the road to take pictures. Some photographers stalk the deer and get way too close to the animals. So far, there have been no deer vs. people incidents.
